Ready Set Go

One of the more interesting Bible topics would be a mysterious rapture event and timing of this miraculous church departure. A sudden exodus (falling away) type moment of the Spirit and born-again saints. A whizzing sound as announced or spirited by God for that glorious instance of time. The beloved verse "in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye" and other sparsely stated references. "For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work, but only until the one who now restrains it is removed. And then the lawless one will be revealed…" (2 Thessalonians 2:7,8). The Lord's patience is incredible and may have delayed this Christian home coming and aftermath of the apocalypse: Jacob's Trouble. Albeit, a victorious church would eventually have to give way and allow the next stage of prophesy. "So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up" (Galatians 6:9). Alas, a sad refrain for the naysayers of unbiblical sorts and for everyone who've stretched the gospel narrative for personal gain, etc.
