Yeshua is the Hebrew name, and its English spelling is Joshua.

Iesous is the Greek transliteration of the Hebrew name, and its English spelling is Jesus.

The Lord Is God

I am my beloved’s, and his desire is for me (Song of Solomon 7:10 ESV).

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; think about Him in all your ways, and He will guide you on the right paths (Proverbs 3:5,6 HCSB).

Waves of Glory

"Happy are the people who know the joyful shout; Yahweh, they walk in the light of Your presence. They rejoice in Your name all day long, and they are exalted by Your righteousness" (Psalm 89:15,16 HCSB).

The amazing witness of the Bible is that ordinary people shared the gospel message. The apostolic letters were given through the teachings of Jesus by normal people of God's choosing. These same people learnt to yield their ambitions for the greater purpose. And thereby, they became willing vessels of God's majesty. The message was about sharing the good news of redemption through love, truth and holiness. For the gifts of the Spirit were alive to the astonishment of the apostles and gladly received by the people for the good of the community.

The record of these events had its high notes of miraculous signs and wonders that shocked the world. This type of phenomena is evident at the beginning and end of every important chapter of God's dispensations on world history and at all times; announced by a prophet. Over time, the light of the church would dim and encounter subtle diversions of the faith. The simple letters that were given to the church were gathered together into a completed summary of the apostolic age. Thus, the Bible was printed with the belief that the voice of the Holy Spirit had spoken. The shift from simple fellowship groups was transformed into a religious dynasty with symbolic sacraments and ordinances.

Once again, an awakening to the gifts of the Spirit were given through several revivals that spread throughout the world. The enlightenment of these events would create several new denominations of the Christian church. Afterwards, with the aid of modern transportation and technology, people were able to see the enduring Word of God through the many evangelistic crusades and publications. And yet, God's apostles and prophets were lost in the shuffle of the modern church. The old adage that the Holy Spirit has already spoken was adopted by the traditional church denominations and missionary groups. The gifts of the Spirit were considered taboo, strange fire and tolerated at a distance.

The apostle Paul shared an insight: "And men will rise up from your own number with deviant doctrines to lure the disciples into following them. Therefore be on the alert, remembering that night and day for three years I did not stop warning each one of you with tears" (Acts 20:30,31 HCSB). Surely today, there is a strong persuasion towards a user friendly church that discounts the need for spiritual purity and propriety. This is the age of tolerance and lighthearted accountability. The sway is towards a one-world religion that suits the fancy of all people today.

Once again, it's time to openly believe as in the apostolic days. To walk in the glorious light — through the watchful eye of faith. Most assuredly, everything is already foreseen according to God’s good providence. Therefore, don’t let the world distract or discourage you. And whatsoever, don't let a few charlatans dissuade or dismiss the opportunity of Yahweh's saving grace. Don’t turn to the right or the left — to succumb to the subtle distraction of interim light. The slow turn of being left behind by the attractions of this world or stop to pick the mushrooms of deceit. Despite all the negative news, soothsayers of false optimism and undertones of the dark side. Keep in mind and Spiritual faith that these days have already been declared: hope of glory.

"Shout triumphantly to the LORD, all the earth. Serve the LORD with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs. Acknowledge that Yahweh is God. He made us, and we are His — His people, the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His name. For Yahweh is good, and His love is eternal; His faithfulness endures through all generations" (Psalm 100:1-5 HCSB).

For we walk by faith, not by sight.

A demonstration of the Spirit is given to each person to produce what is beneficial:

1) wisdom
2) knowledge
3) faith
4) gifts of healing
5) performing of miracles
6) prophecy
7) distinguishing between spirits
8) different kinds of languages
9) interpretation of languages

(1 Cor. 12:7-10)

Just because we're the son or daughter of His holiness doesn’t give us the right to run (metaphorically) onto daddy's lap during His sovereign administration of the kingdom. We are given the freedom to ask Abba God for his advice and should be aware of the protocol and reverence when obtaining a royal decree. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise! on the invitation to enter into His holy presence.
