- a spiritual heredity -
As Elisha the prophet said:
Where is the Lord, the God of Elijah? And yet today, there is hardly any evidence of a victorious church and prayer meetings with people weeping for lost souls. Our modern society has rejected the gospel as a nice story that our grandparents once shared and replaced it with the school of modern thought. Just the same, personal and spirit-led devotion is compromised as a lovely gospel song in many social gatherings. The messianic calling of God's children is suffering an identity theft by soft spoken preachers. They would portray God as a jolly fat man (so to speak). And therefore, biblical expectations are on receiving gifts of prosperity for this side of the splendid journey.
Where is the Lord, the God of Elijah?
